Improving the Efficacy of Immunotherapy in Lung Cancer Through Novel Target Discoveries
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. The researchers from Soochow University investigated the B7-H4/USP2a axis and its role in regulating the cancer progression. To automatically image the TMA cores, they employed TissueFAXS Spectra slide scanner. StrataQuest image analysis software was used for protein expression studies.

Quantitative Analysis of Cultured Cells: High-End Solution for Ready-To-Publish Data
The following case study uses the StrataQuest image analysis solution for the analysis of a fixed and IF-processed monolayer of cultured cells. It shows how StrataQuest enables a simple and automated pipeline for cell identification and marker detection. The aim of this project was to detect and count the nuclei and the cytoplasm, and in addition, to assess the intensity of a cell marker.

Spatial Multiomics Approach Reveals a New CAF Subset in Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) were shown to play an important role in cancer. The research team combined spatial transcriptomics and multiplexed staining, powered by TissueFAXS Spectra system, to identify a new CAF subset associated with cancer stemness. To detect individual cells and classify the tissue, StrataQuest image analysis software was employed.
