Background
Stitching, in this context, means assembling any number of small detail images to create one large image. The main purpose of TissueStitching is to create large overviews of tissue specimens without losing accuracy in detail.Compared to traditional microscopy, this technology blends a magnification factor of 1:400 for detailed resolution with a magnification factor of 1:25 or 1:50 for broad overview.
Assembling Tissue Images
Several hundreds, or even thousands, of recorded images can be seamlessly assembled.
The end result is obtained through a fast and automated process without requiring additional user interference.
TissueStitching offers large overview images right on screen. Thanks to the integrated zoom function,
these images can be studied even more conveniently than the same tissue specimens under a microscope.
Leading-Edge Technology
Virtual Specimen
TissueStitching is yet another automated process introduced by TissueGnostics. This module creates panoramic views of tissue specimens in high resolution (virtual slides). Users of TissueStitching can accurately capture histological data and archive them for documentation. The system is intuitive and easy to operate. Once TissueStitching has been established in a laboratory, huge data volumes can be processed in a straightforward fashion, thus laying the groundwork for image databases that will satisfy any demands, no matter how advanced.
Robust Autofocus
TissueStitching features a specially designed autofocus for speedy progress and top-quality results.
Zoom Function
TissueStitching also features a high-performance zoom function that will greatly accelerate the stitching job and ensure that the data can be analyzed smoothly without compromising on quality or efficiency despite the enormous amounts of data involved.
Applications
TissueStitching is a suitable tool for pathological applications and beyond. It offers the unique opportunity of relating different areas of an organ (or tissue segment) to each other. The result can then be analyzed with our TissueQuest 2.0 software.
